On the southern slope of Linville Ridge at a 4,500-foot elevation, 16-inch log columns and beams frame a majestic mountain house retreat. An authentic log structure, Black Bear Lodge is one of the largest private log homes east of the Mississippi River. Lighting artisan Roc Corbett custom created many of the interior light fixtures. The log structure was manufactured in Montana by Neville Log Corporation and shipped to the building site, precisely crafted and installed per Johnston Architecture's drawings.
